A blend of hollow metal and storefront doors are the composite and FRP doors.

The FRP door has an aluminum frame and reinforcement with a fiberglass resin face. Typically textured FRP doors are becoming very popular with schools due to their resistance to most inks; most graffiti can be easily removed with soap and water.
Composite doors and frames are made of extremely hard high impact reinforced resins. They provide superior resistance to corrosion and decay in extreme environments. These doors are ideal in chemical laboratories and areas with a high exposure to moisture.
